FUSSYlittleSTORE

Welcome to the FUSSYlittleSTORE, please pardon our dust.  This is a work in progress, but I wanted to introduce you to v 1.0

You may have noticed by now, the store is located off-site.  Just follow the link, and it will take you there.

The FUSSYlittleSTORE will be a home for all of the physical items that get written up on the FUSSYlittleBLOG.  You may find yourself very convinced that you need an oven thermometer after reading “Do Not Trust the Machine.”  But we all have busy lives.

Hopefully the store will help simplify yours just a little bit.

Right now, if you browse the store you will find items that have not yet been written about.  I plan to correct that in the near future.  But I did want the store to be empty at its soft opening.  You may also find that I have mentioned some items that are not yet included in the store.  I am working on that too.

After a long wait, I am proud to offer FUSSYlittleSHIRTS and FUSSYlittleHATS.  Maybe a FUSSYlittleAPRON if anyone is into that sort of thing.  Mostly, I’ll be making those for me to wear out and about to shamelessly promote the FLB.  But maybe some of you would want to wear them too.  I’ll let you know when they are finished, so you can check them out.

Any other suggestions are always appreciated.  And if you use the store, please let me know about the experience.

I am so excited for the FUSSYlittleSTORE! I would be interested in all of the above..including kids tees and re-usable shopping bags!

It’s a great idea to offer the items you mention and are fussy about. This aspect of your site reminds me a bit of The Greatful Palate (which I love…we were members of the Bacon of the Month Club)… They are into many of the same things..great cheap wine…hot sauces…bacon…etc.

Daniel, the fussier the better for me. I am quite a fussbudget myself!

Just checked out the store. Great so far. Love the Mac and Cheese. The tomatoes…. I think I’ll have to agree with Mrs. Fussy. Muir Glen are good, but they have a particular aftertaste that I haven’t decided if I like or not. I prefer Tutorosso and actually Price Chopper brand, believe it or not, are good. But of course, nothing beats the real thing.

    I agree with V… T-shirts!

I swear I saw FUSSYlittlePORN instead of APRON in the paragraph above. Wouldn’t put it past you. :)

I’d like a FLB bobblehead with the trademark Berman laugh built-in please.

Wow. $19.40 for Kraft Mac and Cheese? Last time I looked on my store’s shelves, it cost about a dollar.

As a big fan of all things Alton Brown, I am trying to follow his advice to seek out a restaurant supply store for items that would be too cheaply made at the Wal-Mart but not the crazy expensive stuff at William-Sonoma (his example is large, aluminum jelly roll pans and other baking pans). Have you shopped at any local restaurant supply stores? If so, how was the experience?

      Hey Mike B.
Buffalo Hotel Supply on Rte 155 between Voorheesville and Washintgon Ave. Not only do that have everything your looking for. They have every catalogue imaginable. Trish works the front desk and she is awesome!
