Local Pastry Giveaway
I suppose it could be local bread giveaway, or local baked good giveaway. But dammit, if you win and you don’t get the croissants or try the vegan cinnamon buns, I am going to be very disappointed in you.
The details follow.
By the way, I think this may officially be the first time I’ve had multiple posts in a single day. There is one other bit of news I’d like to get up later as well, but we’ll see how that goes. Regardless, here is the information about the contest as emailed to me from All Good Bakers:
Winner will receive $10 worth (your choice) of bread and/or baked goods to be picked up on Saturday at the Delmar Farmer’s Market from 9-1! If you’d like more information about their CSB, please email Britin & Nick of All Good at allgoodbakers@gmail.com.
Easy peasy. So feel free to comment away. To make it even easier, here is a quick rundown of what you can get from All Good Bakers.
Breads: Hearty multigrain, rustic Italian, whole wheat, spelt, rye, roasted garlic, sesame semolina, multigrain dill, rosemary olive oil, ciabatta, and baguettes.
Baked goods: Bialys, croissants, seasonal muffins, seasonal scones, and vegan cinnamon buns.
But they also make cakes and cupcakes with the following combination of cake and icing flavors.
Cake: Coconut, chocolate, vanilla/white, Grandma’s yellow or seasonal spice.
Icing: Toasted coconut, chocolate buttercream, vanilla buttercream, or peanut butter.
If all of this is just too overwhelming, or if you want to just enter to win as much as possible, you can also check out their Facebook page for another giveaway being hosted there. Just remember, only four more days to sign up for the CSB. So if you are interested, do not delay.
Now let the comments commence.
Because I don’t eat dairy (due to allergy), vegan foods are always interesting (especially those that are naturally meat-free) so places like Xs&Os and AGB catch my eye with their vegan bakery items. Of course I am also trying to lose weight…
We grabbed the last two cinnamon buns at the harvest fest…they looked amazing, and barely made it home. Did not know they were vegan until we saw them on AoA! Yum.
Yum. The only reason I hesitated entering this giveaway is that I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to pickup my prize on Saturday. But really, if I win me some baked goods I’ll rearrange my schedule… I’ve never tasted the Vegan Cinnamon Buns but I also wouldn’t mind some freshly baked croissants either. The Community Supported Bakery idea is so awesome; I’m happy that Albany has two creative bakers willing to give it a go!
Tried a cinnamon roll at SUNY Albany’s homecoming weekend farmer’s market–it was really delish, & if I didn’t know I wouldn’t have guessed it was vegan. Good luck to the bakery!
I have heard about All Good Bakers so many times this week I had to comment for a chance to win the giveaway. I’ll probably give them a try in the near future even if I don’t win but free stuff is always fun.
Ok, I commented on AJ’s blog, but I’ll do it here, too; I’d love to up my chances at trying those cinnamon buns everyone’s talking about.
I mentioned previously that my guy brought my folks AGB bialys as a little gift when he first met them. My folks LOVED them. I’m a bialy neophyte so I can’t expertly review them in comparison to others, but I thought they were delicious. A bit of chew but not too dense, just the right amount of onion-y. Big win all around.
Aha. This is a *separate* giveaway. Excellent. I have no problem with the small probability of winning both..
I wish I could have a solid response for AGB, but I haven’t been lucky enough to try them yet. My hope is a win will make that a lot easier for me! I wish them lots of successful business.
I’m interested in giving vegan baked goods a try. I am a skeptic, but willing to sample some cupcakes.
